Changwon City to Provide 1 Million Won Social Distancing Closure Support Fund
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it has paid 1 million won to businesses that were ordered to suspend operations during the social distancing period.
The recipients include PC rooms, karaoke rooms, martial arts schools, fitness centers, dance halls, dance academies, entertainment bars, nightclubs, and academies (private institutes) that applied for the suspension support fund from the 6th to the 22nd of last month. A total of 4,500 locations applied, and a total of 4.9 billion won was spent to pay 1 million won each.
This suspension support fund is expected to provide sincere consolation and assistance to multi-use facility businesses that faithfully complied with the government's operation restriction orders to realize social distancing.
