This project involves local governments nationwide and 18 social contribution companies, including Samhwa Paint Industrial. A business agreement ceremony was held the day before at the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute. Samhwa Paint Industrial has been participating in this project for eight years.
The Environmental Disease Prevention Project for Vulnerable Groups is hosted by the Ministry of Environment and organized by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute. It was established to provide environmental health services and realize environmental welfare by inspecting harmful factors in the living environment of groups sensitive or relatively vulnerable to exposure to environmental hazards, while simultaneously carrying out indoor environment improvement work.
In this year's project, each local government diagnoses factors causing environmental diseases within households of socially vulnerable groups, and participating social contribution companies are responsible for supporting supplies and work necessary for diagnosing and improving indoor living environments.
