On the 25th, the National Health Commission of China (NHC) announced that as of midnight, there were 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in China. Among them, 5 cases were imported from overseas. Of the 14 cases classified as locally transmitted infections, 13 were in Beijing and 1 in Hebei Province.
In Beijing, where 13 new confirmed cases were reported in one day, since the first COVID-19 patient was identified at the Xinfadi wholesale agricultural market on the 11th, a total of 269 patients have been classified as confirmed cases and are receiving treatment. The number of asymptomatic infected individuals, who are not classified as confirmed cases, has reached 22.
