On the 24th, according to the legal community, Judge Lee Jeong-ho of the Criminal Division 1 at the Nonsan Branch of Daejeon District Court acquitted Jeon Mo (61), who was charged with assault and confinement.
The assault charges were dismissed as the victims submitted statements requesting no punishment. The confinement charges were deemed unreliable based on the testimonies of witnesses.

Jeon was brought to trial in April last year on charges of hitting public servants or confining them to the veranda between 2013 and 2017.
