Hampyeong Fire Station Conducts Fire Safety Education for 'Korea 119 Youth Corps'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Hampyeong Fire Station (Chief Im Donghyun) announced on the 24th that on the 23rd, it held the ‘2020 Korea 119 Youth Corps Induction Ceremony and Fire Safety Education’ with the participation of about 23 people including instructors and youth members from Jagwang Daycare Center in Hampyeong-eup.
The induction ceremony proceeded in the order of awarding appointment certificates to 119 Youth Corps instructors, fire safety education, and guidance on COVID-19 quarantine rules.
The Korea 119 Youth Corps, founded in 1963, is a youth organization aimed at fostering healthy and sound children who develop awareness and habits regarding safety from an early age and emphasize safety.
Yoon Okcheon, head of the Prevention and Public Relations Team, said, “We hope that 119 Youth Corps members will make fire prevention a daily habit at school and home, take pride and honor in being 119 Youth Corps members, and fulfill their role as future safety guardians.”
