Damyang-gun 'Home Repair Academy Nest Making' Successfully Concluded
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 24th that the 'Home Repair Academy Nest Making 1st Class' (hereinafter Home Repair Academy), conducted as part of the 'Urban Regeneration New Deal Project' resident capacity building project, was successfully completed on the 23rd.
This academy was a beginner course that allowed any resident to easily engage in home repair activities, conducted over 7 weeks with theoretical and practical training in electricity, facilities, insulation, wallpapering, flooring, and more.
Residents who participated in the Home Repair Academy evaluated that the program provided an opportunity to enhance their ability and basic knowledge to voluntarily conduct safety inspections and home repair activities on their own residences.
A county official stated, "Through this Home Repair Academy, we will train experts related to home repair such as wallpapering and flooring, and in the future, establish village enterprises to create jobs through profit structure formation."
