Lee Seo-jin is a leading South Korean actor loved by viewers for his solid and versatile acting across films and variety shows, while IU is a trusted performer among the public, known for her perfect immersion in roles and empathetic characters, skillfully portraying diverse roles.

At the appointment ceremony, Kim Hyun-joon, Commissioner of the NTS, stated, "I deeply appreciate that both of you readily accepted despite your busy schedules, making today’s appointment as promotional ambassadors very meaningful," adding, "Through your singing, acting, and variety shows, you give hope to the public, and your efforts in promoting sincere tax payment will positively influence young people's awareness of taxes."
Promotional Ambassador Lee Seo-jin said, "I am honored to have been selected as an exemplary taxpayer and received a citation just by fulfilling my tax obligations faithfully, and to be able to serve as a promotional ambassador for the NTS," adding, "I believe that paying taxes faithfully is the minimum form of donation for myself and everyone, and I will do my best as an NTS promotional ambassador to raise awareness of the importance of sincere tax payment."
Promotional Ambassador Lee Ji-eun said, "I will once again correct my thoughts on sincere tax payment and will diligently carry out my duties as an NTS promotional ambassador in 2020 for faithful payment for the country and the people."
