Sunchang-gun Accelerates Construction of Database for Permanent Preservation of Cadastral Records
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gominhyeong] Sunchang County announced that starting from the 1st of next month, it will establish a database to safely preserve permanent cadastral records made of paper from wear, damage, and fire, and to provide prompt civil service issuance.
This work involves scanning the paper cadastral records and creating digital images.
Currently, the county holds a total of 884,115 cadastral record sheets (survey performance maps, land transfer resolution documents, land registers, etc.), of which 783,547 sheets have already been digitized into the database.
The remaining 100,568 sheets of cadastral records yet to be digitized are planned to be completed by the end of this year.
In preparation for the enforcement of the "Special Measures Act on Real Estate Ownership Transfer Registration, etc." starting August 5, the county will also digitize 28,502 sheets of documents related to the special real estate measures law implemented from 2006 to 2007, actively utilizing them to protect the property rights of residents.
