Korea Ceramic Foundation, Operates Online Exhibition Hall
[Asia Economy (Gwangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Korea Ceramic Foundation is operating an online exhibition hall.
The Korea Ceramic Foundation announced on the 22nd that due to the re-spread of COVID-19 leading to the closure of the planned exhibition "Modern Ceramics, Standing on the Path of Industry and Art," which opened on the 22nd of last month, they have prepared an online exhibition hall (www.kocef.org) to provide access to residents.
The planned exhibition highlights modern ceramics overall through about 150 ceramic artifacts produced and distributed from the late Joseon period after the opening of ports until before liberation.
By entering the online exhibition hall, visitors can view the works as if they were in the actual exhibition room through virtual reality (VR), and by selecting artifacts, they can also see brief explanations.
