Kwon Ki-sik Appointed as Chairman of Geumcheon-gu Korea-China Business Exchange Committee and Korea-China City Friendship Association

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) appointed Kwon Ki-sik, president of the Korea-China Urban Friendship Association, as the chairman of the Korea-China Corporate Exchange Committee of the Geumcheon G-Valley Sustainable Growth Committee on the 18th.
This appointment aims to support local companies' overseas expansion, especially into China, and is expected to provide great strength to companies overcoming difficult times.
Kwon Ki-sik, appointed as chairman of the Korea-China Corporate Exchange Committee, will actively support Geumcheon companies in various ways, including consulting on entry into the Chinese market, exchanges, and investment cooperation.
Yu Seong-hoon, mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "In the difficult situation of overseas expansion due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), we appointed President Kwon Ki-sik, who has demonstrated outstanding capabilities in Korea-China relations, as chairman of the Korea-China Corporate Exchange Committee to find a breakthrough. We expect him to serve as a bridge not only for corporate exchanges and overseas market development but also in various fields such as culture and youth between Geumcheon-gu and local governments in China."
Chairman Kwon stated, "I will actively support Geumcheon companies in cooperating and partnering with Chinese companies to contribute to the prosperity of both the companies and Geumcheon-gu."
