View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] On Sunday the 21st, daytime temperatures will rise above 33 degrees Celsius mainly in inland areas. Some regions are expected to experience showers.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, showers will occur in the southern part of Yeongseo, Gangwon Province, northern Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk. Expected precipitation is around 5 to 30 mm.
Additionally, the KMA stated, "In most inland areas, the apparent temperature will exceed 31 degrees Celsius, especially in the central inland and Gyeongbuk inland regions where it will rise above 33 degrees Celsius, increasing the possibility of heatwave warnings being expanded and strengthened."
Heatwave advisories are scheduled to be issued from 11 a.m. on the 21st for the cities of Icheon, Anseong, and Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province, and the plains of Hoengseong County, Wonju City, Hongcheon County, and Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province.
The morning low temperatures on this day will range from 17 to 21 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will range from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be: Seoul 32°C, Incheon 27°C, Suwon 31°C, Chuncheon 33°C, Gangneung 29°C, Cheongju 31°C, Daejeon 32°C, Jeonju 31°C, Gwangju 31°C, Daegu 32°C, Busan 26°C, and Jeju 26°C.
