Sale Suspension and Recall of 'Strong IPA' Beer Made with Expired Ingredients

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 19th that it has detected that the 'Ganghan IPA' beer product manufactured by the food manufacturing and processing company Platinum Craft Beer used expired raw materials, and has suspended sales and initiated a recall.
The recall targets products manufactured between November 1, 2019, and June 14 of this year.
According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, it was confirmed that the product was made using malt past its expiration date.

An official from the Ministry stated, "Consumers who purchased the product are requested to return it to the place of purchase," and added, "If you witness any illegal food-related activities, please report them through the defective food reporting hotline."
