Jin Joong-kwon "Yoon Seok-yeol Resignation? It Means the Prelude to Regime Collapse"
Seolhun: "If I Were Yoon Seok-yeol, I Would Have Resigned Already" Urges Resignation
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Amid pressure from some ruling party figures for Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol to resign, former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon stated on the 19th, "If Yoon Seok-yeol is ousted, the situation will become quite a spectacle. It would mark the beginning of the regime's collapse."
On the same day, Jin posted on his Facebook, saying, "These people (ruling party figures) seem to be intoxicated by COVID-19 nationalism and the victory in the general election, so they still do not seem to have a proper grasp of the situation."
He predicted, "If that happens (Yoon resigns), the country will split in two again. The scale will probably be different from the time of Cho Kuk," and added, "They should be thanking Prosecutor General Yoon."
He continued, "Originally, when the cat disappears, mice run rampant in the granary. The country's granary is no different," sarcastically adding, "Right now, there are probably many mice in this country who want to take advantage but are too scared of the cat to do so."
He further criticized, "Trying to figure out how to put a bell on the cat's neck, but since there is no sharp solution, they are taking turns squeaking 'Cat, go away.' This situation is not far from the truth," and said, "Anyway, these people burden the regime and ultimately put the president in danger."

Earlier, Supreme Council member Seol Hoon appeared on YTN Radio's 'Noh Young-hee's Start Morning' in the morning and said, "If I were Prosecutor General Yoon, I would have already quit."
Seol emphasized, "It seems that Prosecutor General Yoon and Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae have differing views and appear to be fighting, but I recall that there has been no such case since the founding of the nation," adding, "It is common sense that the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General basically agree on any issue."
He also claimed, "It is a well-known fact that Prosecutor General Yoon was at odds with our government. I thought he was being more cautious due to the mother-in-law case, but now he is again at odds with the Minister of Justice, which I think is wrong."
