Yangcheon-gu Reports 69th Additional COVID-19 Case (Mok 2-dong, Woman in Her 50s)
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 19th, Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) reported one additional confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The 69th confirmed case, Ms. A, is a woman in her 50s residing in Mok 2-dong. She had visited a table tennis center in Yangcheon-gu and was under self-quarantine until the 17th.
Ms. A was tested at the screening clinic of Ewha Mokdong Hospital on the 18th and received a positive result on the afternoon of the 19th.
The district office has requested bed allocation for Ms. A from the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and one cohabitant of Ms. A is currently confirmed to be under self-quarantine.
The district office will promptly conduct disinfection in the patient’s residence and surrounding areas, and will additionally disinfect other locations based on the results of an in-depth epidemiological investigation of her movement paths.
Furthermore, the district office announced that once the confirmed patient’s movement paths are identified, they will be accurately and promptly disclosed through the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram).
With this, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Yangcheon-gu has reached 69.
