Jeonbuk Sports Council Holds 'Meeting' with Superintendent Kim Seung-hwan

According to the Provincial Sports Council on the 19th, on the 18th, President Jeong Gang-seon and the heads of sports councils from 14 cities and counties in the province held a meeting with Kim Seung-hwan, the Superintendent of Education.
This meeting was the first official gathering since the election of the civilian sports council president, during which discussions on revitalizing school sports promotion took place.
The heads of the city and county sports councils reportedly proposed to Superintendent Kim the opening of school sports facilities, activation of city and county superintendent's cup competitions, and promotion of sports suited to regional characteristics.
Superintendent Kim responded that he would make efforts to revitalize school sports after fully considering the opinions.
Additionally, the city and county sports councils agreed to actively promote and cooperate on the obligation of safe driving in children's protection zones (school zones) to create a safe educational environment.
