[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A complaint has been filed alleging that a nursing assistant sexually assaulted a female patient at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 19th that they have booked a male nursing assistant in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of quasi-forced sexual assault and are currently investigating the case.
Mr. A is accused of touching the hand of a female patient, who was under anesthesia, with his own body. It is reported that the victim filed a complaint with the police after regaining consciousness. There were no closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the operating room.
