Busan Port Authority (BPA) announced on the 19th that it has selected participating companies for the "Busan Port SME Worker Vacation Support Project," which was publicly recruited last month to help SME workers at Busan Port and the travel industry struggling due to COVID-19.
This support project was promoted to encourage vacations and support the domestic travel industry, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, by having Busan Port Authority cover part of the costs borne by Busan Port SMEs and workers when participating in the Korea Tourism Organization's "Worker Vacation Support Project."
From May 28 to June 10, Busan Port Authority invited companies located in Busan and Gyeongnam with usage records of Busan Port to participate in the "Busan Port SME Worker Vacation Support Project." On the 16th, after deliberation by the Busan Port Authority's Win-Win Growth Committee, a total of 39 eligible workers were selected.
The selected workers can use domestic travel products worth a total of 400,000 KRW by paying only 100,000 KRW personally, combined with 200,000 KRW support from Busan Port Authority and 100,000 KRW government support.
