Haenam-gun Secures 3.2 Billion Won in National Funding for Hope Job Project
Participation Target Expansion Planned to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam County, Jeollanam-do (County Governor Myeong Hyun-gwan) announced on the 18th that it has secured 3.2 billion KRW in national funds for the COVID-19 Overcome Hope Job Project.
The Haenam County Hope Job Project plans to provide jobs to about 600 people over five months from next month until December, targeting vulnerable groups struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Specific recruitment schedules and project details will be posted on the county office website and Sotongnet at the end of this month.
In particular, to respond to on-site demand and labor market conditions caused by the spread of COVID-19, repeat participants and those exceeding income and property criteria can apply temporarily.
Additionally, special types of workers and freelancers who have lost their jobs, closed businesses, or experienced a sharp decline in income due to COVID-19 are also included in the category of employment-vulnerable groups and will be given priority selection.
