Confirmed Cases No. 66 (Sinjeong 7-dong, Female in 60s) and No. 67 (Sinjeong 3-dong, Male in 40s) in Yangcheon
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) has reported the 66th and 67th confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The newly confirmed cases are number 66 (a woman in her 60s residing in Sinjeong 7-dong) and number 67 (a man in his 40s residing in Sinjeong 3-dong), totaling 2 people.
The 66th confirmed case, Ms. A, developed symptoms such as cough and difficulty breathing on the 13th, was tested at Chung-Ang University Hospital on the 17th, and received a final positive diagnosis on the morning of the 18th.
Also, the 67th confirmed case, Mr. B, developed symptoms such as cough and chills on the 12th, was tested at the Seonam Hospital screening clinic on the 17th, and received a final positive diagnosis on the morning of the 18th.
The district office has requested beds at a nationally designated hospital to transfer the confirmed cases. After transfer, disinfection will be conducted immediately around the residential areas of the confirmed cases.
The district office will promptly and accurately disclose the movement paths of the confirmed cases and other information on the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram) as soon as it is confirmed.
With this, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Yangcheon-gu has reached 67.
