Habitat On-site Volunteer Work Building Homes for Non-homeowning Low-income Families

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced on the 18th that it conducted a 'Building Homes of Love' volunteer activity to build homes for homeless low-income families at the Habitat site located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam.
On that day, 30 members of the Housing Volunteer Group, composed of HF Corporation executives and employees, visited the Habitat wooden house construction site (2020 Habitat Hope Dream House), where they performed safety prevention training followed by the production and installation of wooden wall panels.
Lee Jeong-hwan, President of the Housing Finance Corporation, said, "It is meaningful if the house built together with the executives and employees becomes a warm home for someone," adding, "We will continue to actively participate in providing homes and improving living environments for neighbors in need."

Meanwhile, in addition to the Building Homes of Love volunteer activities this year, the Housing Finance Corporation is carrying out various social contribution activities to ensure housing stability for low-income people, such as the 'HF Dream House' project to improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups like elderly living alone, and the 'Community Creation' project for local residents.
