On the 17th, the KLPGA Tour announced, "The organizer S-OIL provided fuel gift certificates worth 500,000 KRW to a total of 42 players ranked from 77th to 120th (excluding amateurs)." S-OIL explained, "This was a gesture of consideration for the players who endured until the moment the tournament was officially ended amid severe weather conditions." Originally, the winner was to be decided over 54 holes of stroke play across three days, but due to rain and thick fog, only 18 holes were played, so the event was not recognized as an official tournament.
