Busan Bank Donates 570 Million Won to Support Children from Low-Income Families
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 17th that it has donated approximately 570 million KRW to the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education as a 'Fund to Help Children from Low-Income Families.'
Since 2005, Busan Bank has issued the 'Busan Education Love Card' to public officials under the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and private school faculty members, accumulating a certain amount from the annual usage fees as a fund to help children from low-income families and donating it.
The fund is used annually to support meal expenses for children from low-income families, and the total amount of the 'Fund to Help Children from Low-Income Families' delivered so far, including this year, is approximately 4.8 billion KRW.
This time, the accumulated fund increased by about 43 million KRW compared to the previous year due to an increase in card usage, reaching approximately 570 million KRW.
