The 3GO Campaign, with the slogan meaning ‘Go to, Taste, and Buy at Traditional Markets,’ is an initiative by Busan Port Authority to increase the use of traditional markets and contribute to boosting merchants’ sales.
This event is held at ‘Sujeong Traditional Market’ in Dong-gu, Busan, which has been a sister market to Busan Port Authority since 2011 under the ‘One Institution, One Market’ partnership. So far, the last Saturday of every month has been designated as ‘Traditional Market Day,’ promoting the purchase of Onnuri gift certificates and shopping events. Since 2018, fire prevention supplies have also been provided during winter to prevent safety accidents.
Through this 3GO Campaign, the Port Authority plans for its employees to actively use traditional markets when purchasing food and supplies needed for internal and external events, aiming to revitalize local traditional markets and support the depressed local commercial districts.
