[Post-Corona Strategy] Launch of 'Live Commerce' Panel Tailored for Untact Consumption
Hyundai Department Store
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Hyundai Department Store's Hyundai Outlet has partnered with the mobile V-commerce startup 'Grip' to launch a 'live commerce' channel. This new shopping experience combines the advantages of both online and offline channels to cater to the recently expanded contactless consumption trend.
Hyundai Outlet has officially launched a 'live commerce' service that introduces products in real-time at offline stores and sells them through mobile devices. The 'live commerce' service is broadcast live via the Grip application (app). During the live broadcast, customers and product sellers can communicate in real-time through the chat window. Notably, to provide customers with detailed product explanations, store sales staff and Grip's professional show hosts, called Grippers, introduce the products together. Customers can watch the live video and make purchases in real-time.
