LS Cable & System launches 99.99% Pure Copper Audio Cable
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LS Cable announced on the 16th that it has launched the high-end audio cable 'Priority' series.
The Priority series is an upgraded version of the OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) cables produced by LS Cable in the early 2000s during its LG Cable days, and it is the only domestically produced OFC audio cable currently available in the Korean market.
LS Cable explained that due to numerous consumer inquiries about past products, they decided to release consumer goods after several years.
LS Cable used copper with a purity of over 99.99% for the conductors of the Priority series cables to enhance sound conductivity and minimize noise.
Even minute amounts of oxygen and impurities in copper cause distortion and noise, so refining it to over 99.99% purity is considered a measure of technological capability.
By utilizing copper processing technology, LS Cable improved quality while pricing the products approximately 10-20% lower compared to imported products from Europe, the United States, and Japan.
