View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Seo Young-seo] Kim San, the governor of Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced on the 15th that he joined the Stay Strong campaign, which carries a message of support and encouragement to overcome the COVID-19 crisis together.
The Stay Strong campaign is a global relay campaign by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to garner worldwide solidarity and support in response to COVID-19, aiming to overcome the virus together through thorough personal hygiene management.
Governor Kim San participated in the campaign holding a sign that read "Overcome COVID-19! Muan-gun is with you!" and said, "Since COVID-19 can only be ended through the collective efforts of people worldwide, I hope this campaign serves as an opportunity for all of us to express mutual support and encouragement."
He added, "To the residents, as confirmed COVID-19 cases continue to occur, even though the heat is tough, please strictly follow personal hygiene rules such as wearing masks and washing hands, and especially actively participate in practicing social distancing in daily life."

Meanwhile, Governor Kim San was nominated by Shin Jeong-min, acting governor of Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, a sister city, to participate in the campaign. He then nominated Lee Jeong-woon, chairman of the Muan-gun Council, Lee Byung-hwan, governor of Seongju-gun, and Jeon Dong-pyeong, governor of Yeongam-gun, as the next relay participants, requesting their participation in the Stay Strong campaign.
