Starting with the release of the mobile app on the same day, from the 22nd, on-site issuance will be available at NongHyup and Daegu Bank for citizens who find mobile use inconvenient.
'Gyeongju Pay' will be issued this year with a scale of 20 billion KRW to support small business owners and self-employed individuals struggling due to the economic downturn. The monthly recharge limit is 1 million KRW, and 10% of the payment amount will be given back as cashback until the end of the year.
The rechargeable card-type 'Gyeongju Pay' can be used at any store within the region equipped with credit card terminals. However, large supermarkets, quasi-large stores, entertainment bars, and gambling establishments are excluded.
Gyeongju City held a ceremony to unveil the Gyeongju Pay model and demonstrate the app installation on the 15th, coinciding with the expanded executive meeting, with the intention of encouraging public officials to take the lead in using it.
