[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 12th, Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Su-young) reported one additional confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The newly confirmed patient, Ms. A, is a woman in her 60s residing in Sinjeong 3-dong. She had contact with a confirmed case related to Evada Church (a pioneering church) in Guro-gu and had been under self-quarantine since the 2nd.
Ms. A developed symptoms such as sore throat and headache on the 7th, was tested at the Yangcheon-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 10th, and received a positive diagnosis on the morning of the 12th.
Meanwhile, two cohabitants of Ms. A are currently under self-quarantine. The district office promptly transferred Ms. A to a nationally designated hospital, conducted patient and nearby area environmental disinfection, and plans to carry out additional disinfection along her movement routes based on the results of an in-depth epidemiological investigation.
Additionally, the district office will promptly and accurately disclose the confirmed patient's movement routes through the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram) as soon as they are confirmed.
