Professor Kim Hyoyong of Hansung University Elected as New President of the Korean Animation Society
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Hansung University announced that Professor Kim Hyoyong of the ICT Design Department has been elected as the 10th president of the Korean Animation Society. He is scheduled to be appointed at the general meeting on the 13th, and the term of the president is two years. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the general meeting will be held as a YouTube webinar. Professor Kim previously served as vice president of the Korean Animation Society, director of the Digital Animation Center, general director of the 2016 Future Growth Engine Challenge Parade of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, and is currently serving as head of the VR/AR Education and Research Center at Hansung University's Creative Convergence Education Institute and director of external cooperation.
