This special exhibition will be held for 48 days from the 4th of this month to the 30th of next month in the planned exhibition hall of the National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage. Marking the 70th anniversary of the 6·25 War, it is expected to be a valuable opportunity to remind young people of the importance of peace and reunification.
In particular, visitors can see at a glance precious educational artifacts from Jeonnam schools at the time, including albums, photographs, school records, certificates, and textbooks, which reflect the local community's desire to protect education even amid the horrors of war.
According to the agreement, the Office of Education has decided to lend educational artifacts from around 1950, collected as part of establishing an education museum, free of charge for the special exhibition.
