Confirmed Case No. 62 in Yangcheon (Mok 2-dong, Woman in Her 60s), Total Confirmed Cases Reach 62
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) announced that the 62nd confirmed case of COVID-19 has been newly identified.
The newly confirmed 62nd case, Ms. A, is a woman in her 60s residing in Mok 2-dong, who was confirmed to have had contact with a confirmed case from another district.
Ms. A developed symptoms such as a sore throat on the 9th and was tested at the Ewha Mokdong Hospital screening clinic on the 10th, receiving a final positive diagnosis that same afternoon.
Meanwhile, one cohabitant of Ms. A is currently under investigation.
The district transferred Ms. A to Seonam Hospital, a nationally designated hospital, and immediately completed disinfection around the confirmed patient's residential area after the transfer.
Information regarding the confirmed patient's movement and other details will be accurately and promptly disclosed through the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram) as soon as it is confirmed.
With this, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Yangcheon-gu has reached 62.
