Dongduk Women's University Eurasia Turkic Research Institute Holds Seminar on Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Strategies
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Eurasia-Turkic Research Institute of Dongduk Women's University, the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation, and the Central Asia Research Institute of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies jointly held a seminar on the theme of "New Northern Policy, Achievements and Development Plans of Korea-Central Asia Cooperation." The seminar presented an analysis of current issues based on diplomatic and economic indicators and proposed cooperation measures accordingly. Additionally, discussions on cooperation directions were conducted based on specific cultural exchange cases in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. The visits of the presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Korea are scheduled for the second half of this year.
