[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 10th that a 53-year-old woman in self-quarantine in Gonjiam-eup tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The woman is a cook at a daycare center in Giheung-gu, Yongin City, where COVID-19 cases have recently occurred consecutively. After a daycare teacher at the center (Suwon patient No. 58) tested positive on the 30th of last month, she entered self-quarantine.
At this daycare center, on the 5th, a 2-year-old boy (Yongin patient No. 78) tested positive, followed by another 2-year-old boy (Yongin patient No. 81) and the boy’s mother (Yongin patient No. 82) testing positive on the 6th.
