Wemade Tree to Provide Games Using Naver Cloud
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Wemade Tree announced on the 10th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Naver Business Platform (NBP) to promote blockchain game platform services.
Wemade Tree is the blockchain subsidiary of the domestic game developer Wemade. Naver Business Platform is Naver's IT specialized company, supporting the overall IT infrastructure such as security, cloud, and Internet Data Center (IDC) services for all Naver affiliates including Naver, Line, and Snow.
According to this MOU, Naver Business Platform will join as a Block Partner of 'Wemix,' the blockchain game platform built by Wemade Tree. Block Partners jointly make key decisions regarding Wemix’s technology, IT infrastructure, and platform operations.
In particular, Wemix plans to provide users with a stable service environment by utilizing Naver Business Platform’s enterprise cloud, 'Naver Cloud Platform.'
An NBP official said, "We expect that the partnership with Wemix, which is leading the popularization of blockchain-based games, will greatly contribute to the development of the domestic blockchain industry."
