"Prepare for the Untact Era" SK Infosec Offers Free Security Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] SK Infosec announced on the 10th that it will hold an event offering free security monitoring and vulnerability diagnosis services.
As remote work and video conferencing have increased, cyber attacks targeting these untact work environments have also risen. According to SK Infosec's tally of attacks through April, cyber attacks increased by more than 20% compared to the previous year.
In response, SK Infosec has prepared free services for companies struggling with security. Applications can be made through the SK Infosec website on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected companies will receive free service of security equipment such as firewalls and intrusion prevention systems for three months.
Vulnerability diagnosis refers to identifying and addressing weak points in IT assets that could be exploited by cyber attacks. The company explained that with the increase in remote work and the use of unauthorized software and devices due to COVID-19, security vulnerabilities are also increasing, making diagnosis essential.
Both security monitoring and vulnerability diagnosis are provided as remote services. SK Infosec’s remote service is used by over 1,600 companies in Korea. The SK Infosec Secudium Center remotely monitors various security equipment of companies and analyzes and handles suspicious signs suspected of cyber threats.
