Gwanak-gu Urgently Inspects 26 Medical Device Sales Stores Offering Free Trial Rooms
From the 8th to the 12th, inspection teams will conduct on-site checks on operational status and compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines... urging adherence to rules such as maintaining a 2m distance between customers and refraining from group meals and food consumption.
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Junhee) will conduct an emergency on-site inspection of 26 medical device sales establishments in the form of free trial rooms within the district starting from the 8th.
This measure is taken to prevent additional cluster infections after recent COVID-19 cluster infections occurred mainly in establishments that gather elderly people indoors to sell products, by pre-inspecting the operation status of similar businesses.
Free trial room medical device sales establishments are indoor spaces where customers can try medical devices such as thermal therapy devices, low-frequency stimulators, and alkaline ion water generators before purchasing.
The district has organized inspection teams of two people each and will visit 26 free trial room medical device sales establishments in the area from June 8 to 12 to focus on inspecting their operation status and compliance with quarantine rules. The inspection items include whether the establishments comply with COVID-19 quarantine rules such as ▲keeping visitor logs ▲checking body temperature ▲confirming respiratory symptoms ▲providing hand sanitizers ▲disinfecting at least once a day, and whether users of the establishments show ▲any suspicious symptoms ▲and comply with personal hygiene rules.
Along with the inspection, users of the establishments are requested to strictly follow quarantine rules such as ▲maintaining a 2-meter distance between individuals ▲refraining from group meals or eating food inside the establishment.
Additionally, notices regarding visitor compliance and responsibilities of managers and workers will be posted at the entrance and inside the establishments, and managers and workers will be educated to immediately contact the public health center if any worker or user with fever or respiratory symptoms is found.
