[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the afternoon of the 8th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the ‘Scholarship Fund Presentation Ceremony by Seonmuk Hyeja Sunim of Doansa Temple’ held in the mayor’s office.
The ceremony was organized to deliver a scholarship fund of 10 million KRW, prepared by Seonmuk Hyeja Sunim of Doansa Temple located in Nowon District, to low-income residents and others amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The received scholarship fund will be handed over to the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation to help neighbors in need.
