[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the Future United Party, demanded an apology from former lawmaker Min Kyung-wook, who claimed that Chinese hackers were involved in the April 15 general election, calling it a "final warning."
On the 8th, Ha posted on his Facebook, saying, "A week has passed since my revelation, and former lawmaker Min has shown no remorse. The United Party has accepted my opinion and clearly distanced itself from former lawmaker Min's rumors."
He emphasized, "Didn't he say with his own mouth that if a sentence other than 'follow the party' comes out, he would admit his mistake? He needs to realize how much former lawmaker Min's rumors are an obstacle to the United Party's reform."
He continued, "I will wait only until today. If he still does not apologize, I will disclose additional evidence showing how maliciously fabricated former lawmaker Min's rumors are, which could lead to legal action."
He demanded, "This is the final warning. If you do not want to suffer the fate of a 'rumormonger' like Ji Man-won, sincerely apologize for your rumors."
Former lawmaker Min Kyung-wook held a press conference on the morning of the 19th of last month at the National Assembly Communication Office in Yeouido, Seoul, and claimed that contrary to the Central Election Commission's statement released on the 12th, he confirmed that the ballot sorting machines used in the April 15 general election have communication devices and spectrum sensors capable of reading QR codes. In response, Ha held a press conference at the National Assembly on the 31st of last month, saying, "It is mathematical manipulation and full of hypotheses," and added, "Based on the random number table combination from former lawmaker Min's side, not only 'Follow the Party' but also 'Follow the Ghost' and 'Follow the Happy' come out."
The 'Follow the Party' claimed by former lawmaker Min is merely a conclusion derived from an arbitrarily created hypothesis and cannot serve as evidence of election fraud.
