IBK, 500 Million KRW Donated to Employee Suffering from Rare Disease

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 8th that it held the ‘IBK Medical Expense Donation Ceremony’ at its Euljiro headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, and delivered 500 million KRW in medical expenses to 124 families of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) workers suffering from rare and intractable diseases.
Yoon Jong-won, President of IBK, and executives participated in this medical expense donation ceremony by voluntarily contributing funds to support more families of SME workers.
Since 2006, IBK has supported over 2,600 families of workers battling rare and intractable diseases with 11.7 billion KRW in medical expenses, and provided scholarships totaling 14.5 billion KRW to more than 8,600 children of workers from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to improve the welfare of SME workers.
