LadyGagu "‘Free Return’ Service, Zero Requests Received So Far"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ladygagu announced on the 8th that since the launch of the 'Free Return Center' service last month, there have been no return requests submitted so far.
The Free Return Center service allows customers to inspect the product at the delivery location and, if unsatisfied, to request a return on the spot. Even if there is no defect in the product, returns can be requested simply due to a change of mind, such as dissatisfaction with the color. No shipping or return fees are charged for returns. However, the return request must be made before the delivery driver leaves the site.
Currently, the products eligible for the Free Return Center include eight items: ▲Grazia Tong Ceramic Solid Wood Dining Table ▲Destra Natural Cowhide Sofa ▲Labelle Leather Sofa ▲Scandic Family Solid Wood Dining Table ▲Almang Leather Sofa ▲Elin Fabric Sofa ▲Wison Leather Bed ▲Poem Solid Wood Dining Table. These represent about 10% of Ladygagu's entire product lineup.
Before officially opening the Free Return Center in May this year, Ladygagu conducted a pilot operation of the free return service from September 17 to December 17, 2019. At that time, the service was operated through online sales channels other than their own mall, and Ladygagu stated that only five return requests were received during the three-month period.

Lee Sunok, Director of Ohaim INT (Ladygagu's operating company), explained, "Furniture returns usually incur high costs because they are handled as freight charges rather than parcel delivery fees, but we operate the Free Return Center because of our confidence in product quality. To enable immediate returns at the delivery site, we formed a strategic partnership with CJ Logistics, collaborating on delivery driver training and product repackaging."
