[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the morning of the 5th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the appointment ceremony of the school shelter 'Cultural Arts Platform Ttukttak Village Advisory Group' held in the small conference room of the district office.
The appointment ceremony was organized to facilitate the smooth progress of the Cultural Arts Platform Ttukttak creation project, which utilizes idle spaces such as vacant classrooms, corridors, and lobbies within schools as cultural arts or community spaces for residents.
The village advisory group consists of 12 members including local artists and architects, who will serve as supporters by providing consulting for school space creation, supporting students' cultural arts creative activities, and facilitating communication with residents.
The target schools are four schools in the area: Surak Middle School, Samyuk Middle School, Yeongshin Nursing Business High School, and Cheongwon High School.
On this day, the ceremony proceeded in order with the awarding of advisory group appointment certificates, greetings from the mayor, progress reports, advisory meetings, and commemorative photos, attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, the village advisory group, and district officials.
