Hyundai Mobis Targets Overseas Markets with 'Contactless Marketing'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hyundai Mobis announced on the 7th that it will strengthen non-face-to-face (untact) marketing to open overseas markets despite the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a strategy to overcome the difficulty of participating in exhibitions or visiting clients as before.
Hyundai Mobis stated that it plans to target global automakers through untact marketing methods such as virtual technology exhibitions, online real-time product promotions, and production of core technology demonstration videos.
Accordingly, Hyundai Mobis plans to hold a 'Virtual Tech-Fair' instead of attending offline exhibitions. They will produce VR (virtual reality) content featuring future technologies such as autonomous driving sensors and new technologies in key areas like braking and airbags to provide to clients.
They are also preparing product promotions using online broadcasting platforms. A broadcasting system will be set up at the technology research center to explain materials, demonstrate products, and conduct Q&A sessions with customers in real time.
Videos about major products in the future car sector will also be produced. Researchers in charge will appear to explain the background, significance, and advantages of the technology development.
