View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The 'Gyeongbuk Skills Competition,' a festival for skilled technicians in Gyeongbuk Province, will be held from the 8th to the 12th with 465 participants at nine venues including Gumi Geumogong Technical High School.
According to the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation Gyeongbuk Branch on the 5th, this year's competition will be held in 47 categories including Polymechanics. The Skills Competition, which has been held for over 50 years since 1966, has greatly contributed to nurturing and discovering technical talent.
Winners from Gyeongbuk will participate in the 55th National Skills Competition to be held in Jeollabuk-do this September. To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the Young Skill Olympiad contest and cultural demonstration events have been canceled.
