Gyeonggi-do Reopens Recruitment for Private Medical Institutions to Install Operating Room CCTV
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is reopening applications for medical institutions to participate in the installation and support project for CCTV in operating rooms at private medical institutions.
This re-application, conducted due to a shortage of participating institutions in the first round of applications, will run until the 19th of this month.
Through this recruitment, the province will select 12 hospital-level private medical institutions to pilot the installation and operation of operating room CCTVs by the end of this month, and will fully support the installation cost of 30 million KRW per hospital with provincial funds.
Any additional costs beyond the supported amount must be borne by the institution as a principle.
Eligibility for application is limited to hospital-level private medical institutions with operating rooms installed, as defined by Article 3 of the Medical Service Act; dental hospitals, Korean medicine hospitals, and nursing hospitals are excluded.
After recruiting interested medical institutions, the province will conduct a final selection through a selection review committee within this month, examining whether the institutions meet compliance conditions under relevant laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act.
