[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Nowon-gu (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) held a 'Cooperation Meeting with Local Universities' at the mayor's office on the afternoon of the 3rd.
The meeting was organized to strengthen an organic cooperation system by sharing major projects with seven local universities (Kwangwoon University, Samyook University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul Women's University, Induk University, Korea Bible University, and Korea Military Academy) and to promote district development. Mayor Oh Seung-rok, presidents of each university, and district officials attended.

At the meeting, the district administration philosophy and university-specific issues were shared, and discussions were held on youth-related projects such as a university student idea contest, collecting opinions through communication with youth stakeholders, and establishing youth policies. Mayor Oh said, “We will identify the issues of local universities and reflect them well in district administration,” adding, “We will listen carefully to the voices of young people and implement youth policies that do not overlook even the smallest matters.”
