Three COVID-19 Cases Confirmed: Two in Their 60s from Sinwol 3-dong, One in Their 50s from Sinwol 4-dong, Yangcheon-gu
Cases 36 (Sinwol 3-dong, Male in 60s), 37 (Sinwol 3-dong, Male in 60s), and 38 (Sinwol 4-dong, Male in 50s) Reported in Yangcheon
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 4th, Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Su-young) reported 3 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The newly confirmed cases number 36, 37, and 38 are ▲Mr. A (No. 36, resident of Sinwol 3-dong, male in his 60s) ▲Mr. B (No. 37, resident of Sinwol 3-dong, male in his 60s) ▲Mr. C (No. 38, resident of Sinwol 4-dong, male in his 50s).
Mr. A was tested at the Yangcheon-gu screening clinic on the 2nd and received a positive result on the 3rd. Mr. B and Mr. C were tested on the 3rd and confirmed positive on the 4th. Mr. A and Mr. B attended a service at Buhwal Church in Sinwol 3-dong and had contact with confirmed cases No. 32 and 33 in Yangcheon (related to Buhwal Church). It was confirmed that they have no cohabitants.
Meanwhile, the infection route of Mr. C is currently under investigation, and one cohabitant of Mr. C is in self-quarantine.
The district office plans to promptly transfer the 3 additional confirmed patients to Seoul city-designated national isolation beds, conduct patient and nearby area environmental disinfection, and after a thorough epidemiological investigation, will carry out additional disinfection along the movement routes based on the investigation results.
Also, the district office will disclose the confirmed patients' movement routes on the Yangcheon-gu website and SNS (blog, Instagram) as soon as they are confirmed.
