AXA Sonhae Boheom Jongno Call Center Employee Confirmed Positive... 5 Additional Infections (Update)

View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] After an employee of the AXA Insurance Jongno Call Center near Jongno 5-ga, Seoul, was confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), five additional cases including family members and contacts were confirmed. No transmission cases within the call center have been confirmed yet.
According to Seoul City on the 3rd, patient number 30 from Seodaemun-gu (52 years old), a call center employee, and her husband, patient number 29 from Seodaemun-gu (59-year-old male), were confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the previous day (the 2nd).
The city stated that tests were conducted on 120 people who had contact with patient number 30 from Seodaemun-gu within the call center.
Although no additional confirmed cases have been identified among colleagues working with patient number 30 at the call center, family members and contacts have tested positive according to investigations.
The daughter (29) of the Seodaemun-gu patients number 29 and 30 was confirmed positive for COVID-19 earlier on the 1st and was registered as patient number 45 in Seocho-gu.
The husband (32) of Seocho-gu patient number 45 also tested positive on the same day and was registered as patient number 44 in Seocho-gu.
A 72-year-old male resident of Gangbuk-gu who had contact with the Seodaemun-gu patients number 29 and 30 was tested in Seodaemun-gu and was confirmed as the 15th patient in Gangbuk-gu on the 2nd.
