Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Launches Full-Scale Implementation of 'Excellent Logistics New Technology Designation System'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 3rd that it will officially implement the 'Excellent Logistics New Technology Designation System,' which certifies and supports outstanding domestic logistics technologies by the government.
The Excellent Logistics New Technology Designation System was introduced to certify excellent logistics new technologies developed by the private sector and provide administrative and financial support for the certified technologies, thereby promoting the development and dissemination of new logistics technologies.
The designation of excellent logistics new technologies targets all related technologies applied in logistics processes such as transportation, storage, cargo handling, packaging, informatization, and standardization.
It includes advanced logistics facilities, equipment, and transportation means in the land logistics sector that are either developed domestically for the first time or imported from abroad and improved.
The final decision is made through technical review and on-site inspection conducted by a professional review committee composed of experts in each field, evaluating novelty, technicality, economic feasibility, and verifying the performance and effects of the technology in the field.
