POSCO Construction Publishes '2019 Corporate Citizenship Report'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] POSCO Engineering & Construction has published the 2019 Corporate Citizenship Report, which contains the activity achievements of POSCO Group's management philosophy of ‘Corporate Citizenship that Develops Together.’
Since 2012, POSCO Engineering & Construction has published the ‘Sustainability Management Report’ documenting its social responsibility and sustainable management activity achievements, and has now renamed it the Corporate Citizenship Report.
The report includes the practical activity achievements in the areas of Corporate Citizenship management philosophy: Business, Society, and People.
In the Business area, activities such as POSCO Engineering & Construction’s smart construction technology, customer satisfaction management, and win-win growth with partner companies are introduced.
In the Society area, POSCO Engineering & Construction’s corporate citizenship activities addressing environmental and social issues are included.
In the People area, organizational culture innovation activities for employee happiness and creating a safe workplace, as well as efforts to eradicate serious accidents, are described.
Considering that various stakeholders such as partner companies, local communities, and shareholders are demanding global companies disclose their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) activity achievements, POSCO Engineering & Construction has focused on achievements in developing eco-friendly smart construction technology, advancing corporate governance, and transparent communication activities with stakeholders.
Additionally, aligned with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, the report includes POSCO Engineering & Construction’s corporate citizenship activities actively participating in solving global economic, environmental, and social issues.
