[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Hutech Industry (CEO Ju Seong-jin) announced on the 3rd that its massage chair 'Comfor,' which participated in eBay Korea's 'Big Smile Day,' ranked first in both sales volume and sales revenue in the health category.
Hutech explained that during eBay Korea's 'Big Smile Day,' held from the 19th to the 27th of last month, the combined sales of Comfor massage chairs on Gmarket and Auction reached 870 million KRW with 441 units sold over the 9-day period.
A Hutech representative said about this achievement, "Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and increased indoor activities, demand for home healthcare products has risen to support health management that is easy to neglect. It is analyzed that the massage chair model, priced affordably for online purchase, attracted significant consumer interest."
